Aaron Bell Trophy - A sword trophy for the best Men's and Women's three weapon finish, named in the memory of a Tanner City FC 3 weapon fencer that many of the older New England fencers will remember. Congratulations to Brad Baker of the Fencing Academy of Philadelphia on winning the Aaron Bell Trophy. Brad fenced a total of 91 five-touch bouts, and four fifteen-touch DE bouts over the course of the weekend. Brad placed 1st in the Sabre Tournament, 2nd in the Epee tournament, and 6th in the Foil tournament. Nice Job Brad! Unfortunately, there was no woman as insane as Brad to enter all three tournaments. Maybe next year!
A huge thank you to everyone who made the event a success. Save the weekend for next year when the tournament returns on Memorial Day weekend 2006.
