Fall 2011 Class Schedule
Classes Start Saturday, September 10th
Introduction to fencing offers an introduction to the sport of fencing. Students will be introduced to the three different weapons in fencing; foil, epee and sabre. This class is intended for children who are interested in fencing and have not fenced before.
Cost $150 plus US Fencing membership.
Tuesday 4:00 – 5:00 pm Starts 9/13
Saturday 9:00 – 10:00 am Starts 9/10

Youth Foil, ages 8-14
Youth Foil is for youth athletes who have taken an introductory class or have some fencing experience. The class will emphasize tactical drills and fencing.
Cost $175 plus US Fencing Membership
Monday 6:00– 7:00 pm Starts 9/12
Youth Epee, ages 8-14
Youth Epee is for youth athletes who have taken intro to epee. The class will emphasize drills and fencing.
Cost $175 plus US Fencing Membership
Tuesday 6:00 - 7:00 pm Start 9/13
Intro to Sabre, ages 11-14
Intro to Sabre is for youth athletes 11-14 who have never fenced before or who have taken the intro to fencing classs. This class will concentrate on learning fencing footwork, fencing games and sabre fencing.
Cost $175 plus US Fencing Membership

Youth Sabre , ages 8-14
Youth Sabre is for youth athletes who have taken intro to sabre. The class will emphasize drills and fencing.
Cost $175 plus US Fencing Membership
Wednesday 5:00-6:00 pm Starts 9/14
Saturday 11:00 am - Noon Starts 9/10
Youth Competitive Sabre , ages 12 and up
This class is for youth athletes 12 and up with class experience in sabre. The class will emphasize drills and an introduction to competitive sabre fencing. Younger athletes with experience may be considered for this class.
Cost $175 plus US Fencing Membership
Thursday 5:30-6:30 pm
First class in a session is $175 ($160 for the into to fencing)
Second class in a session is $80
All classes require USA Fencing competitive membership ($60/year)
This cycle of classes runs for 8 weeks.
Monday classes – September 12th
Tuesday classes – September 13th
Thursday classes – September 14th
Saturday classes – September 10th

Training Classes
Epee Training Class
David will be offering an epee class for epee fencers of all ability
levels and ages. The class will include conditioning, footwork, drill work and
tactical bouting.
Cost - $10 per class for PdF members, $20 for non PdF members.

Noon Every week
Sabre Training Class
Ariana will be offering a sabre class for sabre fencers of all ability
levels and ages. The class will include conditioning, footwork, drill work and
tactical bouting.
Cost $10 per class for PdF members, $20 for non PdF members.
Saturday Noon – 2:00 pm Every week
Foil Training Class
David will be offering a foil
class for foil fencers of all ability levels and ages. The class will include
conditioning, footwork, drill work and tactical bouting.
Cost $10 per class for PdF members, $20 for non PdF members.
Saturday 2:00 – 4:00 pm Every week
Home School Classes
Classes for home school children can be scheduled most days. Minimum
class size of 4. Call for cost and availability.
